ORIS and IAESTE: A partnership built on trust
Testimony of Sarah, IAESTE trainee
At the end of August 2023, I arrived in Lyon to begin a six-month internship at ORIS Materials Intelligence, thanks to the support of the student organization IAESTE France. This was one of the most valuable stages in my professional career.
During this period, I had the unique opportunity to work on infrastructure carbon footprint analysis and sustainable design strategies. This experience allowed me to explore Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) of raw materials and construction processes. Together with the project team, we worked on finding optimal solutions for reducing CO2 emissions, which enabled me to better understand the impact of different materials on climate change.
After completing my internship, I was honored to be hired at ORIS. This award is a great motivation for me to continue my development. Working at ORIS is not only a unique learning and development opportunity, but also a contribution to a more sustainable future.
